The field is divided into four distinct panels, each densely filled with repeating gül motifs, the hallmark of Turkmen design, set against a deep terracotta ground with accents of indigo, ivory, and chestnut brown. The geometric gul forms are arranged in tight alignment, creating a rhythmic, almost architectural visual effect. Framing the central panels are multiple narrow borders featuring stylised floral and ram’s horn motifs, with a bold outer band showcasing hooked elements typical of Ersari influence. The wool is hand-spun, soft and lustrous, dyed with natural pigments that have matured into rich, earthy tones with gentle abrash.
