This vintage Swedish cushion, handwoven in wool, showcases traditional Scandinavian folk embroidery. The design features a bold central eight-pointed star motif composed of alternating red, green, beige, and pink panels intricately filled with small floral cross-stitch patterns.

Surrounding the central star are smaller eight-pointed starbursts and a repeating floral border in rich shades of olive green, soft blue, coral, and ochre, all set against a deep navy background. The initials “SLA” and the dates “1822” and “1939” are embroidered in red thread, suggesting either a commemorative or heirloom piece.
