This lovely vintage Turkish Sewan Kazak rug is a striking interpretation of traditional Caucasian design, hand-knotted from pure wool with bold geometric artistry. Its warm terracotta-red field is dominated by a dramatic elongated central medallion, formed from angular ivory, deep blue and brick-red shapes with finely detailed tribal motifs.

Stylised plants, hooked forms and symbolic geometric elements are arranged symmetrically around the medallion, creating a balanced composition rich in character. Multiple borders filled with repeating diamonds, stepped patterns and angular motifs frame the field beautifully, while accents of olive green, muted gold, soft blue and warm beige add depth to its earthy palette.

The naturally softened colours, gently aged wool pile and subtle irregularities give this one-of-a-kind rug an authentic vintage charm. Perfect for a living room, bedroom, study or entrance, it brings warmth, cultural heritage and a confident decorative presence to any interior.
