The central field is arranged around a distinctive prayer-niche form filled with small geometric devices. At the same time, rows of stylised architectural and rosette-like motifs create a fascinating decorative panel across the upper section. Numerous narrow borders surround the design, incorporating interlocking diamonds, angular vines and repeating tribal symbols that give the rug remarkable intricacy and depth. The restrained earthy colours, softened pile and naturally aged surface create a rich, understated patina characteristic of old Baloch weaving.
